Pluti’s Peculiar Photo Shop

I’m constantly reminded of the childhood bliss involved with building ever more complex Lego projects. The Lego Technic series was just released on the market when I was a kid. I spent a lot of time creating anything but what expected from the drawings. However nice these creatures were, there was always a limit to the physics, at some point the projects collapsed from the complexity or sheer size. Some kids had Meccano. I didn’t. I was jealous.

Fast forward to roughly 2014 when I got hooked on old stuff on eBay. I bought a Voigtländer Bessa RF.

The Compur shutter didn’t work, there was oil everywhere. So I took it apart. Since then, I’ve had some screws loose, others missing because their too small, a few broken springs, etc.

One thing led to another, 6×9 film meant you needed an enlarger.

Luckily a friendly professional sold me one for a very good price, with the usual “I believe it has found a good home”, comment. Well it did. I’m still working on it.
